Working as close collaborators with agencies and brands, we blend high-end physical production, sharp storytelling, and emerging technology to create moments that cut through the noise, spark conversation, and live on across social media, press, and culture.
Founders Aaron Royer and Stephen Wang (Swang) first collaborated at innovation agency WP Narrative, where they developed a hands-on production approach focused on turning experimental ideas into immersive, real-world experiences. As demand for this kind of work grew, they launched Landing Gear to focus exclusively on brand activation production and complex experiential projects.
This same collaborative spirit continues to define us today — we roll up our sleeves, solve tough technical and production challenges, and always start with "Yes."

Aaron Royer began his career as an agency producer before moving into innovation and creative leadership. At QR technology company Flowcode, he served as Creative Lead, where he designed and executed campaigns that bridged physical consumer experiences with digital engagement and direct sales funnels. This role sharpened his expertise in using technology to connect real-world moments to measurable digital results — a skill set that now sits at the core of Landing Gear's approach. Aaron is a graduate of William & Mary, an expert street parker, master gardener, and obsessive weightlifter.
Stephen Wang (Swang) began his career in digital media for Russell Simmons before expanding into design, project management, and large-scale experiential production. He is known for his relentless energy, problem-solving abilities, and creative instincts that consistently turn ambitious ideas into reality. A native New Yorker and graduate of Hunter College, Swang has also had past careers as a fashion model and the rapper Luz.
